about

September Eighteenth, Nineteen and Thirty Two. The day our father was born. He left us in Two Thousand and Fifteen. This was born out of his steadfast influence on us to be the best we could. If I could be ten percent of that man I would be blessed. From his memory comes hope and comfort. Hat’s off to The King.

lyrics

September Eighteenth

Am I really all that I could be
Am I?
Am I anything like he was
I know I have my moments
But they’re so far and few between

Today is not a day that we just remember
It’s the kind of day that we want
To try to point ourselves in a new direction

Am I really all?
Am I really all?
Am I really all that I could be?
The man he had it all
So much self control
I don’t really know
If I have it in me

But let’s make a move
To get to a better way
With all of our strength, love, and all out Integrity

Am I really all that I could be
Am I?
Am I anything like he was
I know I have my moments
But they’re so far and few between

Today is not a day that we just remember
It’s the kind of day that we want
To try to point ourselves in a new direction

Am I really all?
Am I really all?
Am I really all that I could be?
Like a waterfall
He poured into my soul
You’d think that it might show
I I had it in me

But I will be moved
to get to a better way
With all of my strength, love ,and all out Integrity

He was born into the world As a king
And then he left it
Just as he came in
Just as he came in

Am I really all that I could be
Am I?
Am I anything like he was
I know I have my moments
But they’re so far and few between

Today is not a day that we just remember
It’s the kind of day that we want
To try to point ourselves in a new direction
